Naomi Stanton Wylly (1851-1940) was the daughter of Patrick H. Stanton (1820-1867) and Jane E. Gnann Stanton. Her husband, Thomas L. Wylly (1846-1924) was the son of Frederick Rosburg Wylly and Sarah Lewis Cooper Wylly. They were descended from settlers in Effingham County, Georgia, primarily German-Lutheran (Salzburger) immigrants.
